Lifestyle Coaches provide advice and guidance to students with health-related issues so that timely follow-up, if necessary, can be offered to them. The Lifestyle Coach may also refer students to appropriate specialists for further management.
This program will benefit students who:
- Have general inquiries about their health
- Are underweight or overweight and who need advice on healthy lifestyle practices (e.g. healthy eating and regular physical activity)
- Have existing medical conditions (e.g. asthma, diabetes)
- Would like to reduce or quit smoking.
Students may be referred to the Lifestyle Coach by lecturers, school counsellors, or any staff in school. Students may also make an appointment to see the Lifestyle Coach on their own.
